Xfm listeners vote on the Best Songs Ever Written. A ridiculous Best Of to start with, but not one without precedent (Blender's "500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born," for example).

And who makes it into the top five you ask? Well, I don't want to ruin the surprise, but it's an eclectic mix of bands loved by frat boys and fake hippie douches alike. Yes, bands loved by the true music connoisseurs -- the kids who are just as likely to have DMB on their iPod as they are to have an old August and Everything After cassette tape lying around in their closet.
